What's the point of a STRUT TOWER BRACE??
I ordered a Ford Racing Strut Tower Brace for my "07" Mustang GT Coupe (auto). What are the benefits of this part??? And why am I buying things that I have no idea about???
By the way, I also just got my painted Plenum Cover from MidWestAuto and my 3D Carbon Louvers are on the way!!!
The funniest part about all of this is that I don't even have MY CAR YET!!!!! HAR HAR HAR...sorry

Wow. Send me some of that cash. The strut tower brace is basically defined by what it's called. Basically it brings more structural rigidity to the front suspension. The ride will be a little stiffer and you should notice less body-roll in the corners. It won't be a drastic change, but can cetainly help.

As long as it helps then it sounds good to me. It also matches the paint I chose for my Plenum cover so they both will look good together...thanks swensicle!!

I hope that Plenum cover fits under the STB. I know some STBs don't clear most S/Cs. A STB doesn't do much since our cars are pretty stiff but they are meant to tie the chassis together and prevent the strut towers from flexing maintaining postive tire contact with the road.

Trust me...I don't plan on getting anything major without a lot of research and with the advice from you pros 
(e.g. intakes, headers, mufflers etc...). I went for the STB because it matches my Plenum cover (corny but this is my first sports car and I'm very excited). Also, a "S/C" is not being installed in my car anytime soon. But thanks for the heads up!!!!!!!

If I ordered an '07 I'd consider the optional appearance package. It includes a plenum cover, hood scoop, and something else I can't remember right now. As described, they're all for appearance only which from what I've read is all a strut tower's good for. I opted to go with a Steeda G trac brace that ties the front struts together from underneath. I expect this actually may do something and it's cheap money.
