On the highway I get 27-28mpg.
Around town it's more like gallons per mile.

Mine's been getting between 22 - 23 MPG in 50/50 city and highway driving and 26 - 28 MPG highway.
On a recent road trip it averaged 26.917 MPG and it once got 31.999 MPG, but that was because I was drafting behind an 18-wheeler.

On the freeway I get 23-25.
In the city 17-20.

I drive slow and shift at low rpm...I only have 300 miles so maybe this will change, but I doubt it.

Also I am bone stock.

'06 GT bone stock. Drove 850-miles last week to Chicago and back averaged right at 25 mpg for the entire trip. Crossed 1000-mi mark while in Chicago and had the oil changed to Mobile 1 full synthetic. I drove pretty agressively and still got 25 mpg though...

I know I could improve my 16-17mpg average by changing driving habits, but how can you allow yourself to do that with a 300hp beast of a machine? That's what I get from upgrading from a '98 Ford Contour v6 with displacement the size of the new 4-bangers.

I consistantly get ~21-22 in a mix of short trips which involve both suburb & highway miles. BTW, I've noticed that the computer number is consistantly ~0.5 MPG low from what I measure using the old fashion method (Reset trip OD on fillup and calculate with next fillup.)

For strictly highway mpg, I have gotten 27mpg when keeping the speed at 69 mph or lower. However, once I get over 70 mph, the highway mpg begins to drop off. For instance, the speed limit on I-10 between San Antonio and El Paso is 80mph, so driving in the 80s dropped me to about 25 mpg.
