ORIGINAL: RabidCharlie

For strictly highway mpg, I have gotten 27mpg when keeping the speed at 69 mph or lower. However, once I get over 70 mph, the highway mpg begins to drop off. For instance, the speed limit on I-10 between San Antonio and El Paso is 80mph, so driving in the 80s dropped me to about 25 mpg.
man, i really need to get around more... the highest speed limit i've ever encountered was 65 mph... i hate the east coast[:@]
