Which C&L CAI???
Well, I've finally decided to replace the air intake and I've settled on C&L. But, after looking at Brenspeed, I'm not too sure which version would be best--the regular one or the racer. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
Thanks
Thanks
I called benspeed to ask what he suggested and was told the racer version yields less HP. It was very minimal though I was told about 4hp difference. I think you should prolly base your choice on looks and or cost.

Doug w/ Bamachips offers a tune for this setup and I would imagine that other tuners do also.
Anyway you look at it your going to gain some serious HP with a CAI mod.

You may want to look at the Western Motor Sports CAI. In my opinion this is the way the Mustang GT should have came right off the showroom floor.

Hey man,
Where do the St. Louis and JeffCo Mustang owners hang out? I live in Hillsboro and work in Fenton. I'm interested in meeting other owners who have already done some modding to their '05/'06 Mustangs.

Also, the racer intake is compatible with the Steeda S/C.
But regardless of which C&L intake you decide to go with, you'll be getting a quality product. I have the C&L street intake, and it has provided excellent performance without any problems since I installed it 14 months ago.

I saw John's car at the "Fords Unlimited" Car show in N. St. Louis...
THAT CIA setup is awesome, and definately looks like it belongs on the car!
I have the AIM, and retrofitted my Shaker to feed cold air into the Filter Bay.
