androdz: um, that's not an S197. . . so???? and i'm going to be installing the LCA relocation brackets and new LCAs, so i can't exactly put the jack on the point where i'm working. maybe i'll just use my ray gun and levitate the car!!! i rent out my levitator at $117 per metric hour if anybody's interested!

That is the exact diagram from our manual actually. Does anybody open those up and read them?? They do actually tell you how to operate your car you know.

lol, i just rotated my tires recently. and i put the jackstands in the little openings of the sideskirts. you know the places where the manual says you can jack your car up.i was once told that it wasn't good to put jack stands there. is it really that bad and damagingto put the stands there? i actually don't really see a reason why not.
