Default anyone else with this problem

I installed my saleen s/c w/475hp upgrade kit about a week ago. I have noticed with steady driving, especially with cruise control that there is a little inconsistency with the fuel flow or throttle, can't tell which. I can feel a little acceleration then deceleration. It isn't much, the only reason I noticed it is because I have been extra careful to listen and feel anything since I did the install. The rpms seem to remain steady but I feel just a hint of the problem. Acceleration is fine, it feels smooth and powerful. Is this normal with supercharged cars?

It's probably just telling you WTF LET"S GO !!!

I'm no expert but since your rpm's are remaining constant i don't think you have a problem. All cars when there on cruise control accel and decel like that, It's all computer controlled there's nothing you can really do. I'm just guessing that when you bolt on a S/C it's magnified because it's basically winding up, than dropping back off, so you feel it more than you would on a normal stock engine.

LOL...that thought actually crossed my mind....I also thought my pedal is a lot more sensitive now so it might magnify anything coming from me or the cruise...thx for the piece of mind...I hope you are 100% right

Cars that have way more power than normal+Cruise Control=CC that gives it too much "gas". But i'm not sure what your feeling, but the cruise control will usually just give it how much throttle it gave it stock and thats more than normal and then it backs off real quick.

Most likely what is happening is with the CC on the car is accelerating on it's own when the need arise which is why the Fuel pressure is moving. Does the fuel pressure fluctuate like that when you control the gas pedal?
