ORIGINAL: TinPony

All the TV ads in SoCal say that the 0% does not apply to The GT model...so WTF? is the deal? I had been thinking about moving up to the 07.....and I might for 0%
it doesn't apply to the GT as in GT-40 supercar GT (the really expensive $150K+ GT) not the mustang GT.

Well I just traded in my 2004 car that was good enough for a magazine cover paying $510 and that was at 8.5%. I've had it for 2 1/2 years, owed $14,541. The dealership gave me $14,500 for it, I got the 0% on my 2006 Redfire Mustang GT. I ended up w/ about a $29,xxx loan and I'm paying $401 now. It would have only been $366 but I added stuff in the loan. so for me, I just have a new project to get magazine quality again.

Sounds like we both need to change our names(!) I'm telling people to add all the dealer add ons they want 'cause they're interest free! I added clearcoat protection, service contract, LoJack, carcover, bra, gap insurance and with the '06s having a 5/60 powertrain warranty, I didn't opt for the extended warranty(waste of money if you drive your car normally and get scheduled servicing). Like an interest free credit card. Of course I was used to my '05's payment so I opted for all the extras and only pay less than $4.00 more a month. Plus my car has about $2,500 more in extras my '05 didn't have from the factory. I have all the options except the shaker 1000(waste of money and trunk space and the automatic transmission-YUCK!). I feel like I robbed a bank! Can't stop grinning!

Picked up mine on Friday!

They were tough to find around here....had to get one from 100 Miles away....but my dealer pulled it off!

I was already having my dealer look for one before the 0% hit...then when it hit, I told them to get one in right away!

Best deal around, that is for sure!

I jumped at the 0% financing too. I picked up my 2006 black GT Saturday and I couldn't be happier.

I jumped on it once I heard about the 0% financing. Picked up a 06' Silver GT Premium AT w/18" wheels. shaker500, interior accent and upgrade package, sport appearance and locking nuts. After barganing with the sales manager we agreed to $500 over invoice. Do you think this is a good price?

I paid $28, 163.23 before tax, license and reg. According to the sales manager this is $500 over invoice. After checking edmunds.com and kbb.com I found the invoice to be $27,375. If edmunds is right I paid like $800 over invoice. I called the sales manager and he said edmunds invoice is incorrect because it doesn't include destination charge. I advised him that it did. He said he would be glad to show me the invoice. I'm thinking about going down there to see the invoice but he'll probably just make one up. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I got mine this past Monday, Redfire GT Auto. My first Mustang, and it's a freakin' blast to drive! Never had so much fun with a car before!
