Default Dynoed my 06 gt auto 250/265 WHAT???

He guys. So I dynoed my mustang that weekend, and I do have the yunable intake, and sct from brenspeed, and only made 250 whp, and 265 wtq. What is going on? My car has 2200 miles, has been babied, and to my knowledge should be making much more power. I live in Albuquerque NM. I do have heavier 20 inch wheels, but don't think it should have that much affect. Any ideas guys? Our elevation here is 5000 feet, but my dyno run was supposeldy adjusted for elevation. Thanks in advance. Ps Our cars are supposed to be making 260-265 wheel hp stocl right? So I should be at least at 280. Whats goin on?

If you could post your dyno sheet that would help, what did the air/fuel curve look like...what did the tech at the shop say?

Something is not right here, what kind of dyno was it? Was is a mustangdyno or a dynojet?

Yeah, they said their printer was out of ink, so I could print up the page. I think it's a mustangdyno, but am not sure. Whats the difference with the two. I remmember something about a fuel curve and is was 13 i believe. Thanks man

SOunds about right........Yes your wheels kill HP to the wheels.

My 02 GT put 202 to the wheels with a auto (260 crank)

What kind of dyno ??

auto's are actually around 255 or so stock in an automatic. . .

it really depends on the type of dyno. . . and the type of tune you have on it. . . if you didn't advance the spark much at all, it won't gain that much. . .

dynonamics dynos read our cars around 240 stock manual, and have to be dynojet adjusted to read what a dynojet reads

Why do wheels effect a dyno reading?

The answer to your problem is the wheels and the fact it was done on a Mustang Dyno, not that their is anything wrong with a Mustang Dyno they just read lower because they are an eddy current dyno. That's about right for those two things.

Bigger taller heavier wheels equals more rotational mass which of course would reduce how much power gets put down to the ground. Just going from heavy as hell stock rims on my '85 GT to drag lights netted me a full tenth plus. The stockers weighed something like 40lbs and the drag lights weighed in at 13 if I remember, so a huge difference for the driveline.
