Default Transmission problems

Just recently our transmission has been slipping on our auto '05 GT. I will shift from park to drive and it will take a few seconds for it to actually kick into gear. Also, when driving, the gears will do weird things. They are slipping gear to gear. One of the first things I think to check would be the tranny fluid. I looked at the engine and there is no dipstick for the tranny. Later, I looked at the owner's manual and it says the tranny doesn't take fluid. Does anybody else find this weird? Any ideas? We are taking it in tonight to get checked out.

TAKE IT IN....some of the early 05's had minor issues with tranny leaks, most were noted by drips in the driveway.

That's the thing, we keep it in our garage when not driven, and i havent noticed any leaking. It should have gone in tonight. I am at school right now, so I am not sure what exactly my parents did with it. I'm hoping it was just a matter of some tranny fluid.

Mine was leaking fluid at 400 miles but I didn't notice any problems just the fluid leaking. The dealer replaced a seal.

How many miles? How many burnouts? How many races? Could just need a servicing where the fluid is changed and the bands and linkage is adjusted.
