Default SCT Tuner ?

If you add or take away spark/timing does it affect your wide open throttle? Or does it just adjust to everyday driving/part throttle? Just curious because with this tuner they are completly different category's, if you scroll through user adjustable options. My wide open throttle is awesome, but for the first time I heard a slight ping action going on with my ride right about 2500/2600 rpms at part throttle. I tried a different gas station and slight ping was still there but not as bad. Any help would be great!

\if you tried chaning the spark timing change it back to normal. or you can change it to 4 degrees form 0 to 2000 and 2 degrees for 2000 to 4000 rpms.
