You have to clean all wax off of the surface with at least Naptha (lighter fluid) several times using a clean side of a paper towel every time and a different towel for the oppsite side. Use the adhesion promoter that they send with the scoops and follow the directions. Make sure you get all of the red strips off that cover the 3M tape.

I did all of this on my V6 car for the quarter scoops and they hadn't even started to come loose after a year of car washes and two 8 hr round trips at a constant 75 MPH. Even on hot days one could not pull the scoops off.
