Just ordered mine, C&L Street and the SCT from Brenspeed. Can't wait to get it and install.

Congratulations on taking your first hit.....be careful, you may get addicted.
He MAY get addicted? LOL, your screwed once you buy your first mod. Haha. Happy modding!

Yeah what was I thinking......

He is gonna get the CAI and tuner and say, "hey my car feels faster, I love this!" But in a week or two he will get used to the CAI and tuner and will want that fresh and exciting feeling of a faster car so....in go the gears.

Sadly however, he will start getting used to those too so he will start looking again....maybe UDPs, maybe Long Tubes, or even forced induction! The cycle never ends.

Well i raced my brother over the summer who has an 03 gt as well. He won the first time when i was breakin in the car...and the clutch haha ....SO , i raced him again at the end of summer and i won. He added a prochamber and hes doin gears this winter so i gotta get somethin to stay ahead of 'em

Is his '03 modded?

Just get an S/C and don't tell him about it. That would be funny!

put in the c&l and sct2 evoperorm this weekend, c&l got the street version (- heavier, + looks nicer,) heard more appropriate unless going to be switching gears and track times but i got the convert so no track. Awesome on highway or starting on a hill in the suburban neighborhood. $625 covered it, took about an hour, as I am a novice.

grey, vert, mag wheels

Any concerns about the aluminium inlet tube retaining heat, opposed to a plastic/rubber one's?

Here is last email chat with myself and Brent pertaining to some of the same questions.

Subject: RE: Best Combination setup

One more simple question. I like the looks better on the C&L racer kit and also the better price. I honestly don't want or need anything shinny to have to keep clean under the hood. Is there any draw backs for going with this kit over the street kit? I don't plan on adding much if any more mods but it is also nice to have the extra air flow if I need it later on.

Regards,

Robert

His reply:

Only draw back is maybe the racer makes 3 less HP than the street but the in the big picture you would never feel that. Now down the road if you add cams the racer will make more power than the street. So in short the racer is a better intake to grow into.

THANKS
