Default Winter Storage

Will finally be taking delivery of my new GT/CS 2007 conv. soon, the down side to this... I will have to store it for the winter, not taking this baby in the snow, slush and tons of calcium. Any good advise on storing this new baby of mine?

Thanks,

I have mine in a climate controlled and double-gated storage building. Of course you pay a little more for that..... but she is my baby, so what do you expect?

inside or outside?

if outside, get one of those portable garages and put a tarp down on the floor and a cover for the car

now regardless if in or out doors
wash and wax the car, and fully detail the interior
fill the gas tank up and put in a stabilizer
change the oil
get a battery tender
buy some foam pads to park on, DO NOT use jack stands

Why not to use jack stands? What to do you mean by "foam pads"?

dont put it on stands cause it take the load off the suspension and in the spring it wont ride right, as use the factory rims and tires for storage. Foam pads are to park the car on so you dont get wear spots on the tires from sitting in the same spot.

Also put wire pads in the exhuast, wrap the air cleaner in tin foil so you dont get mice in there.
Put bbq bricks in a pan, on the floor to draw out moisture.

Wow, you guys are a trip.

I'm gonna sound like I'm bashing, but I bought my car to drive - rain, snow, hurricane, etc

But, it is your car, do what you want with it.

kind of hard to drive in the snow when your front is 2-3" off the ground
