Default Kenne Bell .... Cant get the drive belt on???

Routed the belt per the instructions, tensioner opened to the max and cant get the drive belt on.... I bought an extra belt with the kit, neither fit it.

I DID install the included smaller pulleys already... ANy tips ??? Even if i could FORCE it on, the tensioner would be maxed out...

nevermind, seccond belt got on ... but still very tight... tension has maybe 1/2 to 3/4" play left is all.... You other KB owners, are your tensioners that tight?

Yep, they are pretty tight! But that belt has quite a load on it.

Now tell me, starting to get a little excited aren't you!

pretty excited, yea.

Actually it is nearly 3am CST ... i just finished up an hour ago. Car fired right up. Does not seem to be any fuel/water/vacuum leaks so took it for a spin. Very nice difference! 40mph pun on black-top road (2nd gear) would lightly spin my 20's all the way through the revs :O

I did notice first gear sucks ..... not the "wheel spin" part, but it has to be the tune. It hesitates alot when I first let out the clutch unless i give it a bit more gas than I used to before it was SC'd.

Well I only drove it a couple miles, will go play more tomorrow. Will post pics soon too

Ah, and I get to update my sig!

Yes, kit came with 2 "smaller than stock" idler pulley kits, both were installed. It is just a tight fit i guess. My pulley/belt route looks exactly like the diagram on the instructions, i checked 3+ times when installing that belt.
