Default Engine with S/C problem

Started happening today. If I punched it to the floor from a roll it would try and hold back. I could feel a knocking or something that feels like when you get a flat tire. If I just gradually put the gas to the floor it was fine. Is it not getting enough fuel when I punch it? I know it's hard to diagnose without actually experiencing it, but it just worries me. I hope everything is OK.

BTW It doesn't do it EVERY time, but when it does it scares me and I let off the gas.

the fact that it didn't throw any codes has me baffled....if
it were an air or fuel flow issue, you would think a code
would be forthcoming....

I'm going to let my brother drive it and see if he knows what's going on. He knows ALOT more about cars than I do. One time it happened it left a puff of light colored smoke. I just thought maybe someone had the same problem.

You could be experiencing something with believe it or not, the idle controls in your tune. When I s/c mine....and it was just being tuned, it would do that same thing...and it need some adjustments in the tune. Also could be the throttle control in the tune.

On a really bad note....hopefully its not pinging or anything like that....thats bad.

Are your sparkplugs gapped at 0.035"?

You will get misfire on a boosted engine with the stock gap at 0.050".

Hope this helps.

Are you SURE your not pinging or detonating and the knock sensors are backing off power?

You may have got a load of bad gas!

Be careful, if it's detonating you can blow something!

Lots of good info guys. Maybe it is the knock sensors doing their job. Just seems weird that it ran fine for 2 months with the supercharger in, then one day it started doing that. I will let you know if I find out what it is.
