RE: Got my KB 06 GT dyno'd ... not impressed :(
OK, messured the pulley, called KB ... they said I have the 8psi pulley. I was actually happy to hear this.
8psi advertised numbers are 445hp / 386tq.... so i was off by 20rwhp instead of 40+.
The tech guy at kenne bell pulled my order and saw the note for a 9psi pulley, so they are sending me the pulley and the tool for free. Good customer service. I had him add a 10psi pulley while he was at it :O
Also, I am going to dyno again soon and data-log everything for them to review as to why my tq numbers were dead on, but hp is off by 20. This was at their request. I also learned they they dyno on 100+ octane with that tune so the ecu does not pull any timing. They said that is the ONLY thing their 100 octane tune does is disable that feature and disables the traction control.

I plan to do more in the future, have to recuperate from this kenne bell purchase first. I dont want emission inspection headaches, not sure if catted LT/H are really worth it or not.
Well, here is the Dyno .... pay special attention to how run2 dips low around 3200, then spikes up around 6k ... that part boggles me as it did not happen during run1.

Grab some new headers, an H pipe and you should see a nice little increase of power [sm=smiley20.gif]

I had similar dips in my dyno. It was my car leaning out. You may want to visit a shop to get an acurate A/F reading. I actually had a bung added to my exhaust pipe to get the most acurate reading I could get. If it is running lean you probably need to have someone dyno tune your car who knows what they are doing.

Hmmm. with the 2.6 you should be making alot more power than that. Something is wrong. You should take your car to a good mustang tuner and check it out. I have the 2.3 whipple with the Ford Racing tune at 10 psi and I made more power than that on the dynojet. You made more power on your second run because your car was warmed up.
