I have a January 05 production car one of the last that had the HCT in it I know for a fact that when I took it out the car it seemed to respond better.

I've owned both an '05 and '06 GT and other than going to the track and race them side by side, I can't tell the difference other than the Pirelli's on the '05 will not hook up as readily as the BFGs on my '06. Feel alike to me. Although it was much more fun to be able to spin the Pirelli's at will easier
I was wondering if that was true because my friend was bragging about running .2 tenths quicker than us on a good run. We raced side by side and he took off while I spun for awhile. I couldn't go any easier on the launch and still remain a challenge. Sometimes, traction is the deciding factor when power is so close.

I have to agree ...It's my understanding you pick up about .5 in the 1/4 with this color cause it has less wind resistance

Well Legend Lime is smother and alows more wind to pass over it. Bottom line, LLG and Windveil blue run about a 12.99 stock.

Actually the drag coefficient is the same but the metallic paints are heavier so the Windveil and LL are in fact a bit unmeasurably slower.

kidding guys... I love those two colors!

Screw that... Black is the smoothest therefore it MUST be the fastest!
