Default Kenne Bell 2.4

Hey guys,

Whats your opinion on this? I know a guy in Austin selling a used one (about 2k miles on it) for about $2300. Is that a good deal? He's a professional and said that he will send everything with it.

How hard is the install and how long should it take. I have a medium understanding of car tech (i've done all my work except for gears). Should I be able to do it with the help of some of my buddies (who are mechanics at Toyota).

What numbers should I expect? Also, I have a Steeda UDP, would I have to remove it?

every SC install mentions removing any UD pulleys on the first page.. so yah on that one..(otherwise the sc turns too slow)
As far as price goes.. it seems quite good.. mabey a little too good...
I'd say snap it up if it is in sound working order..

You don't mention whether its an S197 kit. After all the work and expense why would anybody un-install a perfectly fine blower? I put 2500 miles on my SC within a month after my install just 'cause it feels soooooooo good!

BTW how well do you know this guy?

Its a speed shop up in Austin. They installed it in the car, but the guy decided to go with a turbo kit instead. Its the polished 2.4 kit and was installed on a S197 (stickshift). He said he would call up KB and get the Auto tune for me, so its no work on my behalf.

How hard is the install?

Look at my sig, every part on my car is used. CAI and Tune for $350, Borla Catbacks for $350, Steeda UDP for $200, Gears for $70, Sound system cost me ~$500. I like to find deals!!! The only thing I paid retail for is the sparkplugs.
