Why do these ricers follow me and never jump until I turn off?? I have had so many give me the big blow-off and revs when I turn off the freeway. After the clowns have followed me for miles and never attempted to do anything but make my rearview mirror look less appealing. Why are they so guttless?? What are they trying to prove by winding out after I am in the exit lane? I honestly DO NOT mind losing, I really wish some of these 1200hp Mitsi's and Honda's[sm=alcoholic.gif] would just give me a chance. I think I could hang with some of them, even though I do not have the high speed graphix or race coolant or whatever it is that makes them only seem to be able to come alive when American V-8 muscle is not in front of them. Ho-Hum maybe one day I will get one with guts to try me out. OK that's it for todays rant...stay tuned for tommorrows. Peace

 

I know what you mean,had a kid come up besides me last week in a chevy cobalt,rolled down my window and said don't waist my time,come back when you got something to really play with.

 

They probably don't want you to become jealous when you see their $2000 rims on their $50 car.

I had one pull out in front of me, but he was in the leftmost lane trying to merge in so he sped up. I hammered it and went around him. So then he proceeds to follow me until we are out of traffic. I let him get alongside me, because I figure he wants to race from a roll. He punches it first while we were going about 40. Of course I win and he had to slow down, because there was a car in his lane. I've noticed these guys don't like to give up. Once they've been beat they like to try again just to make sure I quess. He followed me around some more, but I didn't play so he eventually turns off. I will have to admit he did have one of the rare fast ones. I think if I wouldn't have had my S/C he might have won.

 

lol; what kind of ricer wally? And please dont say evo; sti, or a supra. Sure; the evo ungly and what not. But there not ricers, i hate when people in american v8's give us a bad rep when calling every honda/mits/toy a ricer. Cuz cars like the 300zx tt, vr4, supra, evos, stis are not ricers. They were made 2 be fast, unlike some other cars were people add intake/header exhuast to bump it from 106hp to 120hp....like wooooooooowhooooooooo

Every since i got my GT; not to many ricer rev at me...Unlike when i had my non turbo 3kgt. But i remeber i was driving my bro v6(05) stang around; and this honda was racing up beind me in the mirrors and we both cough a light. he start inching up and looking at me...light turned green; i nailed this lil 6cyc and took off on him...i think he was so shocked that he got beat by a 6 banger stang (prolly why he crys when he see's a GT badge now) that he would not pass me, stayed way back their while everyone he passed is now passing him..prolly the best reaction i got out of a ricer before.

 

I usually tell the kids who try to race me that I'm an off duty cop and going to report them. Almost every single time they take off

 

It didn't have any badges, so I couldn't tell. Just some little red sporty looking car

 

Every punk in a 94 civic with a loud muffler feels the need to challenge me at the light. Apparently they don't know what a Mach 1 is... It is my job to acquaint them with the ***-end of my ride and make them think twice next time.

 

I work in Newport Beach, and every Porsche there will rev and try to race our GT convert, especially when my wife is driving!
I'm sure that some of those Porsches are faster, but Newport Beach is areally bad city to race through, seeing you have thier cops AND Huntington Beach cops on the radar prowl...
We just refuse to race the Porsches, that REALLY pisses them off!!
It's like winning without a race!
