No one else seems to want to reply, so i will.. A squeaky noise is kinda vague.. If it's an 06 he/she should still have the warranty, that's what I would assume. Have them take it to the stealership and check it out. My inital thoughts would be it may be squeaking as the brakes are applied in a turn or as the weight shifts on the car the rear shocks. It's hard to say with out more info. [8D]

Its the clutch. There is a TSB from Ford on this subject. Take it in and have it fixed for free.
Only takes a couple of hours. Squeaking or moaning when turning.. especially at low speeds.
Mine has the same problem. Taking it in next week.

Anyone have a link reference to the TSB in regards to this? Mine has been doing this for months. Seems to only do it when taking sharp turns at low speeds.

I dont know the link but I read it.
I also called my cousin who works at a dealership that my uncle owns.
He new the problem right when I described it to him.
The part is on order now.
Trust me it is the clutch pack.

some where in here there is a TSB for the clutch in the rear end as well as updated fuel pump TSB,I took my 06 GT in and gave the TSB's to the service guy, told him about the rear end moan as well as the hesitation on hard acceleration, said this is what ford says it is,but you guys are the experts fix my problem.he called that afternoon said he ordered the upgrade fuel pump and clutch kit,the next afternoon all was fixed, service guy said my diagnosis was right on ,said he wished more customers had the ability to diagnosis the problem,I owe it all to this form, makes you look intelligent.

Hello EVERYONE!! First time poster here, just got my 07 GT in December and just two days ago I startedgetting the moaning in the read end. I was surfing the net trying to figure out what's wrong when I found this post. It seems like everybodyagrees that the problem is the clutch pack, however mine is an automatic not stick. It's only when I turn at slow speeds like everyone else is describing but I'm not sure if the TSB applies to automatics. I'm going to call my dealership tomorrow but just wanted to know if anybody had any advice. I appreciate the time, thanks!

Hi BlueSeraphim,

The clutch pack is in the rear end of the car. Its the same for both manual and automatics. The TSB number is 06-19-2.

Thanksowero01! I appreciate the fast reply, just downloaded a copy of the TSB, will be taking itto Ford ASAP. Hopefully they do it right and it never comes back. I just hit 800 miles on the beast when it started happening so it was a little upsetting. Thanks Again!
