Default Hurst comp plus ?

Did hurst change there design on this shifter? When I first bought my ride, this was my first mod and I hated it. I just installed one today for my buddy and it feels and respond's 100% better than mine did, his is way more positive and his throw is way shorter[&:]To be honest, it almost compare's to my tri-ax that I have in my car now It's kinda funny how you can purchase the same part for two differnt car's and get two totally differnt results.

Default RE: Hurst comp plus ?

Not sure about any redesign but it might be the car itself.

The Hurst I installed in my 07 works just fine. I can easily do WOT power shifts between 1-2 and 2-3 on my '07 which was better then expected since I've been using pro 5.0 shifters in Stangs for over 10 years. I've read that the '07's got extra across the board bracing due to the GT-500 which might explain why I'm geting a clean powershift.
