damn, i don't know if you needed another bottle of techron. hell, even the gas was laced with it.

sometimes too much cleaning can have a negative effect.

the dealer reccommended ADDING it again....so its up to them to fix now...

if they suggested it then it's their problem now. i just know that adding fuel additives to your tank too often can have a negative effect.

however, if you're throwing that code after those washings then something is definitely wrong.

more info I found from an ASE site
There is a technical service bulletin on this code as well. It is tsb number 06-10-13. It says to replace fuel level sensor and sender assembly. You may even be able to do it yourself! If you would like the tsb itself, or the procedure to replace fuel sensor and assembly, let me know!

05 GT here....my dealer said I must use techron PLUS. I did and haven't thrown the code since.

05 GT here....my dealer said I must use techron PLUS. I did and haven't thrown the code since.
I always used chevron with techron except for 3 times..Mobil once and bp 2 times.....I used techron bottle 2 times and filled up with chevron 93 (which of course has techron) some vehicles will work fine...others as you see by the TSB i attached before shows they must repair the problem....on my way home today guage was eratic again...with all stock stuff returned...so it looks like a new fuel sender unit is in store...
