Default PIONEER AVIC Z1

I just got a quote for the unit itself w/ installation andthe Ipod adapter for 1999.00 do you guys think that is a good price for that?? Install will be done by Circuit City

I work at the panama city best buy in the car audio section. we have the unit for 1499. its also on the web site for that. we install them for $150. the harness is $20, unless you have the shaker. i would check with your area best buy before doing anything man. it sounds like circuit city is doing what they usually do, over charging.

I dont know if your talking about the AVIC Z1, i see the AVIC D2 on the website for $1499 but its a totally different unit then what i'm looking at. The AVIC Z1 retails for over $2000.

Excellent price. I bought the Z1 with installation, iPod adapter, and XM radio for well over $2000 (and that was with free installation). Word of warning though, they will screw up the install and not hook up the speed sensor wire. They may even fail to hook up the illumination wire. I had to do these myself. If it happens, let me know and I can point you in the direction of how to fix that.

My shop allways connects the VSS wire, allways. We even have the tools to create a VSS in the event that we are installing it into a vehicle that doesn't have one.
