ive done full suspension, lt headers gears ect ect. next im looking at is either the electric water pump or the delete plates.. is either a better bang for the buck or does it really matter? and also do either require a retune?

hey f1, i have done shocks, g trac brace, adj pan, strut tower brace, springs, adj lca.
yeah i have already done the udp's also phil.
and yes this is a street car, i shouldnt even get the water pump for it then?

UDPs and a water pump is an especially bad idea.
They both give you HP by addressing one main area: water pump drag. If you already have the UDPs, then adding the water pump is going to give you a TINY HP gain--something like 1-2 HP. Plus, you now have to worry about your electrical system. The combination of decreasing your alternator output with UDPs and then simultaneously putting a higher load on your electrical system with the pump is a not a good thing. Several guys on m odularfords have been battling electrical problems becasue of this. Not only that, but you also have to worry about the life expectancy of the electric motor in the pump. This is not worth the hassle for the tiny gain you will get.

haha, so i can get it for my street car then? i just wasnt sure if it would be bad or not to stack the pump with the udp's.. Al made a pretty good point.
