where can i get a factory service/repair manual

Default where can i get a factory service/repair manual

is it a dealer thing?
anyone have one?
can i get one on cd/dvd?
links?

I have Helm manuals for all of my cars. They are the ones the factory uses. They're expensive, but once in a while, you can find them on Ebay for really cheap.

The Helm manuals are worth the cost. Like Newbreedgt05, I buy them for all my vehicles and use them constantly. If you mod your car at all, or turn any of your own wrenches they're worth the $150.

You can usually get the CD on flea bay for cheap. The CD’s dates are expired so they wouldn’t have the latest information and you have to set the date on your computer back to use it but all the basic information we need is available. I got mine last Aug with an expiration date of Feb of 06 for $15.

I used this... it's not expensive and its much easier than CD... just needs a subscription..
You can print the part you need and take it right to your workbench...

i may try the online service, since i got me one of those new razr phones, and can use it as a modem for my laptop, and can get it anyware..
