VSOP- You wouldn't have to worry about your mower in CA. No one pays attention. I think you can get away with LT's here. They don't do a visual here as far as I could tell. As long as it passes the sniffer test you should be good to go. I had a hole in my muffler on my truck and they don't say anything. When I lived in VA, they had a visual inspection, here they don't, just a smog test without visual as long as it passes. Then again, on a new car here, you don't need a smog for 6 years.
