HELP QUICKLY PLEASE!
Guys and Gals,
I have a buddy that has an 06Gt auto. He just installed an ipod2car adapter and now he has a check engine light on. We're not sure if it's related, but I checked the codes with my SCT tuner and it read P0463 and P2068. One is a fuel-level sensor circuit and the other is a fuel-level sensorB Circ High. Is is possible that it's just a fuse?
Please reply as soon as you can. Any help would be appreciated. He needs to travel accross a couple states in the morning so it needs to get done asap. Thanks everyone!

Well, luckily we figured it out. It turned out he must have left a cable unplugged in the back of the head-unit which sent his car into "I'm gonna blow" mode. If I have time later I'll explain in further detail if anyone is curious.
Yeah, it was crazy. I decided being he had just done this stereo work that we should pull the radio fuse and clear the CEL. We fired it up and everything was fine, so we knew it was stereo related. We got the h/u pulled out and it looked like he had forgotten to plug one of the cables back in. We did so and ran a test and now everything worked correctly and no CEL.
The display was reading low oil pressure, brake light, trac. constantly on, low fuel level, and the CEL was on. Also, some of his interior cluster lights were not working. We also noticed that his stereo lights on the h/u were constantly on no matter what.
Well, we got it all fixed and he's happy now. It's crazy that so many circuits go through the H/U etc. Engineers......

A guy with a S/C went to the dealer to fix his skipper 500 (or maybe 1000). The dealership couldn't get the new radio to work because their computers coudln't see it past the tune for the S/C. I think they ended up taking the S/C tune off, putting the stock tune in just to get the radio working. Of course this created other problems with putting the S/C tune back in with a different PCM code, but after awhile they got it going. All that to replace the radio...
Ugh, that's pretty ridiculous. I can't imagine what happens when the car gets old, the radio decides to quit, and ford doesn't make these POS units anymore. Are all the cars going to go into "limp home mode" forever? This seems like a really stupid design.
This is me not wanting to know about all the weird stuff that goes on in my car...lalalalalalalalala. [&:]
(Just kidding, I really wnat to know, the the results are just mind boggling)
