Does anyone know how to disconnect anti-lock brakes on a 07 Mustang GT?

Because I want to control my car myself. I don't think they work to my liking in the winter. If I need to throw my car into a slide to avoid somebody on a slippery road I need to be able to lock them up.

I'm sure you could kill power to the abs module, but most likely it will cause an error code. Find the fuse for the abs and pull it, see what happens.

Trust me you ain’t going to out maneuver what the anti-lock brakes can do for you. Throw your car into a slide and/or lock them up and you are NO longer in control of your vehicle but in it for the ride…

Kind of reminds me of people who drive 4x4 thinking they can drive like there is no snow or ice on the road because they have 4x4 which is of NO advantage once the vehicle is rolling, just weight like anyone else and a 4x4 can NOT stop any better then any other non 4x4 vehicle…

I would leave you anti-lock brakes alone as they give you MORE control then you could ever do on your own…

My ABS will be turned off at the Track.. The Mustang ABS SUCKS.. There are higher end ABS systems that work better, the Ferrari has the super abs system designed for sport driving, I think the STI also has it. The abs on my stang has pissed me off a few times already on the street

Dude,
that doesn't sound like a good idea, at any rate. I would at least check with the dealer to see the warranty impact.
