If you watch the video from Fast Fords they installed a 62mm BBK throttle body and picked up approx. 8 HP on the dyno.
That may be, but all the people on this forum that have upgraded from the stock TB have had serious issues (car throwing codes, going into limp mode, etc) and only gained a few hp if any. The stock TB is fine for a NA car. The only way it would be worth it is if you were running 15+ lbs of boost.

So, what do the CMCV deletes do? Where is a good place to get them? As for the throttle body, i have a BBK 62mm, and haven't had any problems with it. It hasn't made too much of a difference, but hasn't caused any problems.

There are butterflies under your intake manifold that close at low rpm, I believe for improved fuel economy. Even when they are all the way open they obstruct air flow into the heads. The delete plates remove the butterflies and improve air flow and throttle response(I noticed a big difference). I've heard that they give you 10-15rwhp throughout the rpm range. pmpparts has them for $90 shipped last I saw. I paid $95. It's the best bang for the buck I've seen.

as for the throttle body, mine is still running smooth. There is a whistle at higher speeds, but other than that no problems.
