Default CMCV delete kit

Ok, so I've heard a little about the kit, some saying it won't do anything, some saying that it is a cheap mod to live by. What's the final word on the kit? Will I need a new tune from Brenspeed to get the most out of it? Is it worth it, or is it another $90 gimmick? Looking for some decent feedback before I do it. Thanks!

You have to have a new tune for them. Most people have got some good 8-15 hp gains and it really helps the upper end I believe. Here is a good thread.

Nobody can seem to back up the loss at the bottom with dyno sheets.
