Ohh.. Fair enough. It's a darker gray, if that helps.

Hi Brandon,

Welcome. And don't let anyone talk you out of the manual shift. I deal with traffic and still love it. You won't be in traffic all of the time. You may not have to wait too long for your 'Stang. Sometimes they come before the date the dealer expects.

Test drove a manual coupe tonight and loved the way it shifts. I think it would be better though if I wait a few months, save some money up and make sure my loans, job, etc. are going smoothly. So I may order it in may or june. This will be a very difficult waiting period for me.

Congrats and welcome to the BrotherHood. You couldn't have picked a better car. I bought mine back in July, without even test driving it! You know when it's the right car. Once again. Congrats and Welcome

Con-grats, good choice and hope you like sitting in traffic and shifting
I sure as hell love it. [sm=rolleyes.gif]

Good thing there isn't a ton of traffic where I live.

Brandon,

welcome to the longest few months of your life. I ordered mine on August 20, 2005, and probably called the dealership every 2 weeks until i took delivery on December 17, 2005. That waiting period is worse than the 3 days you wait to get your gun... If only i could remember the birthdays of my wife and daughter as opposed to my car, I'd be in good shape. [:@]

The $1000 cash back ends April 4'th I think. Also, now is the time to buy the car since Spring/Summer is when all the other suckers who are driving Civics around will start seeing all the Stangs parading in their naked glory and the cars get Spring Fever.

No really, right now you'll get a better price because the dealers are slow. I got my Premiumon Long Island for $25.5 and that's pretty low for this area.

I don't think you'll regret it at all. I recently sold my 05 V6 for the GT and I could not be happier! I think it's mostly about the SOUND, that's where so many other cars fall short. Of course 300 horses, looks that kill, and a great ride experience don't hurt either!
