I prefer to keep her sleeper with maybe a couple of visual cues to make them wonder.

Sleeper!

The only reason is because of what You know when driving , who care`s what others think until you step on it.

True story....

30 odd years ago , I knew a guy we called "Major" , a retired AF jockey of B-52`s. He worked on Mopars specifically. He had a 63 Plymouth station wagon , white and he never washed it. He had a 426 Hemi with a six pack and racing automatic in it. It would raise the front wheels off the ground when it hit second. That`s what I call a sleeper!

No mustang can be a sleeper, IMHO...
Also, KDF, don't most hemis originally have 2 -4 barrel carbs?

Is there really such thing as a "sleeper stang"????

I mean it is a Mustang...it's not like there is anyone left in the world that realizes these things can make massive amounts of HP...hence the reason we pay a premium on our insurance for having the name "Mustang" on our car....

the GT's are never sleepers.... but if you over accesorize it then.... you risk all show no go.... I prefer. lots of go - a bit of show...which mine as from the factory IMO

I remember he had those manifolds also , His whole house was a car-parts dream. He kept tellin us about three crate hemi`s he had that burned up in a storage warehouse fire, dunno about the truth in that. I bet sycronizing those carbs was a nightmare. Ahhh , to have been rich back then............

Im not all big on the sleeper look, but I dont like all show and no go either. Id rather have a subtle yet noticeable "Youre going to lose" look.
