March 07 .... where's f.a.s.t. ?

RE: March 07 .... where's f.a.s.t. ?
Good question. The statements they made at SEMA (e.g. 'in simulations we get 40+ hp') says a lot. Wonder if they even have a promising prototype yet. I'd be interested to know what the assumptions were going into those simulations.
I would be so happy to be 100% wrong. Love to bolt on a 40 hp manifold.

it sure would be nice if this new manifold
is produced and is reasonably
priced.....

So its march now and still no news on the F.A.S.T. intake manifold for the stang? Will that thing ever come out ?

When the manifoldcomes out it (if ever), it will be at least $800 I would tend to guess. Sadly the gains aren't even going to be near what they are saying and those with CMCV's already, won't get as much as others if they include new plates with their stupid manifold to make up for the bs numbers they are talking... I would also love to be wrong, but it's not looking very good but oh well!

But for guys like me that don't have CMDP's..... affff it's a long wait ! Even if it costed around 800 bucks and gave 25 - 30 hp i would get it, heck..... it will be the same price range and hp gains range as the good headers,

Their test of the intake was on a Stock mustang, and it probably included a tune that they didn't mention. With that being said if you have the delete plates and an intake already, you won't see as much of a gain. Still, 40 hp is a far reach. They wanted to grab our attention, they did, though how long they hold it is up to them.
