Can you add the turbo kit to a bone stock gt?..

Or will it need other modifications as well..

how much hp does the entire kit add at the least?

I went with the 62mm. I figured since it's good for 600 hp or so it would be fine for me, even after we build a new engine later this year. though its easy to upgrade to the bigger one at a later time.

I am no expert. I think Hellio,powerhouse and I think STS tubro system is kinda of cool since its a rear mount.

I have the Powerhouse Automotive kit and have put over 4000 trouble free miles on my car since. It is a beast too, 450+HP to the wheels and nearly 500rwtq and that's on a conservative 9# tune, I'm upping the boost via manual boost controller and running race gas and expect to see quite a bit more from 11#s. Turbos Rock!

I live about 90 miles up the road from HPand from what I've heard there kit is good if you let theminstall and tuneit. But if you order the kit from them good luck getting it on time and when you do get it expect to have to call them back for some parts.

You can add a turbo kit to a bone stock but the boost should be set real low as the HP at the rear wheels these motors can handle is 450-475 RWHP and that is pushing it. The block can handle 800HP but the stock internals cannot !!!!You will throw a rod! This is from reading all the posts on S/C as well as the turbo threads. Oh one other thing do you think a turbo can beat a S/C.......I am only doing this as so many other turbo lovers keep stealing (hi jacking)S/C threads!!! J

With proper maintenance these 3v's can handle anywhere between 450-500RWHP although 500 is pushing it you should be ok with proper care. I have a buddy out here running 625 with a powerhouseon stock internals. He has the money to play like that i dont. He has been running strong like that for about 3 months now. I expect it to be blowing up any time now. I'll probably end up putting his new engine together for him so........we will see. Do a google search on HPP and you can read all the BS you will run into when you order from them. Oh and one other thing.........S/C and Turbos are both awesome but i am a turbo guy due to the fact i have WAY more flexibility.
