Funny you mention the phazer. I was out and about today and spotted a Phazer II for sale. That's what made me start this post. I just wondered if they worked. It said it scrambles all radar and laser guns. 125 bucks. Or do I just get a detector? The Valentine is 400 bucks, wow!

The Phazer does scramble all, I know it works because I have seen Trooper's point their guns at me and then put them down and I know I was speeding at the time.

I want one but I dont want to mount it on the winsheild. Is there ones I can mount some where "hidden" and just have the sensors on the windsheild?

Spend $4000 and put yourself through the police academy. Then get a job as a police officer. Then though out your radar detector because you dont need it anymore. I have gotten pulled over at least 10 this past year in 3 different states and NO tickets .

I've got a Bel...it's paid for itself more than once. Although I was using it in an Explorer. I haven't wanted to hang it in the Mustang yet, figure it'll tempt me to speed too much. [8D]

Ive got a Bel Vector 995. Thing is AMAZING. Warned me many times and paid for itself many times over. Bought it for 300 new and hardwired it in.

I have the Passport 8500 and before that had a 7500 and before that had whatever the heck model it was that they had out before that. Like some of the guys have said, Escort makes the best radar detectors...they have saved me many, many times. The Valentine is it's only competition, but the V1 has only won one test against the Escort, but the Escort has won dozens of tests and topped reviews against the V1. The new 9000i that is coming out looks fantastic, but it's expensive at $450...still thinking about getting it though. Escort owns 85% of the patents related to radar detection with the remaining 15% spread out among all the competitiors. Somebody @ Escort knows about radar detection, that's for sure.
