2000-2003 Monte Carlo SS's had the NA 3.8L, 200hp/225lbft. I think they ran high 15's/low 16's. Even if was turbocharged, it would take fair amount of work to get it into GT territory. He's full of it. Hell, a S197 V6 could probably still beat a 2004-2005 Monte Carlo SS with the 3.8SC.

2000-2003, not sure what year, monte carlo ss. We'd kill em right? Guy at work claims to have taken a GT. Im convinced it was a V6. Any thoughts?

Edit: Having some coffee, I remembered that while the Monte Carlo sucks, the SS model has a V8 rated at 300 hp, so yeah, I could probably see it taking on the V6 community...but I still stand behind it getting wasted by any GT out there.

btw, a old single port V6 and a NA "SS" are a drivers race[8D]

The newer SS's with the LS4 V8's run mid-low 14's, IIRC a stock V6 Mustang run a high 14 at best.

The one I ran ito was a 5.3 v8 seen the kid running around thinking he's hot s**t. He rolled up on me at the light, I wasn't going to do it but finally gave in. I had at least 3 cars before I even got into 3rd.
