RE: Launch tips please
FOR AN AUTO, JUST PUT YOUR LEFT FOOT ON THE BRAKE, YOUR RIGHT FOOT ON THE GAS ENOUGH TO REV IT UP WITHOUT MOVING> THEN JUST NAIL THE SUCKER!!! IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ENOUGH ABOUT RACING, INVEST IN A TRANS BRAKE, IT MAKES ALL THE DIF!!!!!

RE: Launch tips please
my sweet spot is about 3, some times 2 1/2 rpm. For the most part i keep TCS off for one reason, because it could kick on while shifting quickly. But ive have learned latly w/ the real cold weather (which is making are car run at their best but harder to hook up cuz of the cold tires and cold roads) to keep the tcs ON! If i launch well in the cold the weahter the tcs comes on but does not take away the power(unless i spinn too much) but it helps put the power to the ground. No joke; next time its cold; keep it on. I tend to rev up and relase the clutch quickly but then feather it at the top for a sec right before i let go %100.
but either way; when i get a good launch when i hear a lil bit of wheel spin then TRACTION!
PS; if your at the track and you just cant get a good launch and get under 14; then just start "normally" and floor it...

what ever you do if your running street tires do not deflate them to 20 lbs or what ever it will hurt peformance by deflating street tires you cause yourself to have a smaller foot print which means less traction and worse times i have learned from experience what deflated street tires do
stay out of the water box no need for a big smokey single tire burnout unless you have a locker
go find a nice straight secluded rd and practice lettin the clutch out and just do what everyone else said and you should be fine
i repeat DO NOT DEFLATE STREET TIRES AT THE TRACK
