I own a 2007 Mustang GT manual. I have a steeda throttle body spacer and flowmaster axel backs installed. I am looking for a louder sound then what i have. I was wondering what mid-pipe should i got with the o/r X or o/r H? What would sound good with my flowsmaster and give me a loud sound but also sound good? and what brand mid-pipe would you reccomend? Thanks....

 

If you want a deep-muscle car sound then you would want the o/r H-pipe. I personally love my H-pipe. Its made from PYPES PERFORMANCE. Although the o/r X-Pipe does give a couple more horsepower than the H, it also has a raspier sound and im sure that you dont want that. The H sound versus the X sound isn't really a 'good vs. bad' issue. It depends on what sound you like. I personally prefer the sound of the X, but that comes from a year of listening to as many cars (live and recorded) as possible and basing my decision on that.

 

Thanks i like the way the H sounds. It has that real mustang sound. Is pypes a good brand thoe i have never heard of it?
