Those bastards almost made me commit murder!!!! So yesterday my turbo was supposed to be delivered to my grandparentshouse. Well i get there and there is a nice delivery attempt notice on the door. I go inside and ask my grandmother if she left at all today she says nope been here all day doing taxes. So i call the number on the back of the notice to schedule for a pickup at the center. The chick on the phone says ok we have your packages pulled be here before 9PM. So i drive 30miles to the damn UPS center only to find the gates are locked. I look at my watch and it is 8:20PM. So i go up to the gaurd shack and talk to the gaurd lady who is not very intelligent. I ask her "I was told to come pick up my package before 9 and the gate is locked to the customer care center. She say "Oh dey close at eight thoughty.” I say again “She said be here before 9.” She says “Well howd own a sec.” She gets on the phone and dials over to the customer care center. She says “Yeah day a dude ova hya lookin fo his damn package.” She looks at me and says, “Here she wanna tawk to you.” I grab the phone and the lady on the other end says, “Be here at 8AM thank you…..” CLICK. I calmly turn around and exit the guard shack. So this morning I show up at 8am on the dot. It takes them another 15 minutes to unlock the door they close 10 minutes early and open 15 minutes late. I get inside and hand him my voucher and he heads to the back. He comes back empty handed and says “It looks like your package is out for delivery.” I say “Like hell it is look you guys FU#$ED me last night and you’re not doing it again.” He gives me a bunch of Bull**** and says “Well let me go see if I can track them down.” I wait another 20 minutes and he comes back with a dolly and my packages. He makes me sign then says “They’re all yours.” I ask him if he can give me a hand loading them. He says “Not my job” and turns around an walks off. !@#$!@#%!@!#@%!@#! God damn UPS to hell!!!! What does brown do for me??? NOTHING (well they give my dad a paycheck)

Yep, I have tangled with those ******** more than once with the same kinds of results. I absolutely refuse to use them for ANYTHING!!

Ups sucks

 

I work for ups and I will have to agree with you.. Im not a driver though, I just load the trucks at 3am in the morning.. I would have to say their customer service sucks pretty hard.. Mainly in part because they are tired with dealing with some ppl.. Im not saying you are one of them, but at the center I work at there are ppl that are at the door at 5am when there is a sign on the door that says they dont open till 9am.. I just laugh.. But I pretty much agree with you on everything.. When i was working as a driver helper they told me to go to the door and knock twice if the ppl werent at the door within like 10 seconds then write a slip and walk away.. I thought it was pretty harsh

 

My dad does all the contract mechanic work and body shop work for UPS he just gets paid buy them.

 

Not to be an *** but it is called customer service for a reason... If I don't do what my job description says the I no longer have a job, period
I dislike the fact that their drivers will leave your packages outside without ringing the doorbell, I've allways had this problem with thier drivers

 

+1... I had the samething happen to me with the Post Office during xmas. I went off on them. Been waiting for a important contract to sign, sat there all day then I go to the mail box and its says no one was here come pick it up. I was there no one came to the door, got there first thing in the am like they said and sure enough not there, got home I be a M F'er if she had already been there, I had to wait another day to get it and put off my travel plans. To add insult to it, she always come to our house at like 530pm **** me off, but that day she comes at 930am.

 

U know what I hate? when it rains or is really windy and they either leave your package and it gets all wet, or they keep it and drop it off the next day. This really sucks on a saturday.....[>:]
