Default SCT GUYS STEP IN

Is your programmer hard to un-plug from the dash plug in? Mine has been a little on the tight side and was curious if anyone else has a hard time unplugging it, I have to give it a little wiggle to un-plug. Makes me nervous because I don't want to damage my wiring harness[:-]

It should be tight and snug, (not hard to get on/off just snug) This is done to prevent the unit from dislodging while programming. If the tuner slips off during a tune load or other program change it could not only screw up the tuner but possibly do damage to the computer. Snug and tight is better than loose any day.

You can always hunch down near the floor and look at the dash plug to see if there is something blatantly wrong with the under dash plug in.

I think you are fine if you dont see anything out of wack.

Good luck.

mine is definetly tight, just make sure none of the pins on the inside are bent or damaged... if not, then your good, tight doesnt mean bad...
