Default Lightweight one piece driveshaft question..

Anyone have one, your impressions....Weight savings, also where to purchase..

Good for .2 sec in the 1/8th and .1 in the 60ft. Mine is smoother than stock

It's very easy. about 30 min using hand tools....

Hey Al,

Did you have to remove your mid-pipes to install your drive shaft?I'm going to have the rear end completely out when I do my suspension mods.I was hoping this would give me enough room to install my drive shaft without having to removethe pipes out too.

No, you don't have to remove any of the exhaust. (or the rear end for that matter)

Damn 30 minutes with a lift maybe! Moosestang stated 3-4 hours which is probably about how long its going to take me.

Well if you use my post as a guide it shouldn't take more than 1 hour. Remember I spent atleast 30 minutes going to the autoparts store to get the hex bit and then I didn't realize the trans bolts were a 12 point socket, don't see to many bolts like that and I thought Ford made up another special tool.

It will take you 3-4 hours to install that adj. upper control arm that you're going to need.
