Been married 6 yrs (second wife) I said one morning honey, did you know that Ford is having 72 months no intrust financing on the 06 mustangs and you know how much I would love to have one. She said with that kind of deal how can you not do it. BINGO

Its my toy and my coin.....if she doesn't like it than too bad. If she respects the dream and the reality (owning an 06 GT and modding the hell out of it) than she is a keeper. If she had the same views and passion for something I would support her to no end....even if I didn't agree with it. Its about sharing our lives and passions......it also helps that she loves the car as much as I do! J

Same thing here- I hesitated when we were at the dealer and told her that I might be able to get a slightly lower price if I kept looking, and SHE said "just order it right now or you'll make yourself crazy!".
She understood completely when I said I wanted to buy the 6 gauge cluster for $400 about a week after it arrived, and only rolled her eyes a bit and shook her head while saying "all men are boys- isn't is fast enough for you?!" when I told her I was going to get the FRPP ($1362 installed).
Married 35 years now, and amazingly enough- she still loves me!

26, not married yet but the GF convinced me that one, I could afford it and two, I deserved it. Oh and what totally sealed the deal is when she said "It doesnt sound like a muscle car, Im getting you an exhaust for your birthday" lol MWAHAHA! Yes I love this woman. Its gonna be a Corsa birthday.
Now we just have to figure out how we can manage without the Explorer so we can get another GT for her.

Married 10+ yrs and most of the other mods in my sig she was fine with......but.... the last purchase was over the top, my Saleen unit that's sitting in the garage. That was kinda the last straw. I'll think I'll calm it down for now and make peace.
