Default Conversion from H-pipe to X-Pipe ?

I was looking on line and found an X-pipe that attaches to the stock H-Pipe, converting it into an X-Pipe. This one retains the stock Cats. Apparently is the same set up thats on the SHELBY GT. Price from $149-$200.
QUESTION: Is this a good mod for the stock H-pipe? I want to keep my stock Cats... Will be any hp/tq gains?

Thanks !

since you are not eliminating the cats the gains are minimal, its not going to be much louder either. Removing the cats will get you the best gains for the mod.

The FRPP X-pipe costs $139.00. It's an easy install gives about 5-10 HP, depending on what other mods you have. I changes the sound of the exhaust so you don't sound like every other stang out there. The engine seems to breathe better with it.

Would you need a new tune to compensate for this mod?

No tune required for the X-pipe.
