Took less than 5 minutes using "pypes violators" as subject.

[align=left]I have the Pypes Violators on now. They have a nice deep rumble at idle and crusing, and really sound great when you open it up. They do have some drone under the right conditions, but not near as bad as the Flowmasters I had before. However since I ( ok, my wife!) is sensitive to it, I've got a set of Corsa's on order. If you're interested in the Violators PM me (less than 100 miles on them!)

I had Flows which had a nice deep sound but a baffle weld broke so I switched to the Pypes.

If you're looking for a sound that is better than stock but won't rattle the windows in your neighborhood the Pypes are good. The only time I get drone is at low RPM in 5th (~1500), which I refuse to let happen toooften.

Also they were less expensive than most of the other popular options, e.g.Corsas, Borlas, etc. and I'd prefer to put my $$$$ into performance upgrades vs. sound (JMO).

Just depends on what you're looking for and your priorities.

I have the Pypes Cat Back System w/ Violator's and X-Pipe. I guess I just had my hopes a little to high for this system. The "drone/humming" happens 2K RPM and under. Thats the main reason I dont like them. I'll be removing the Violator's soon enough. Either way some people dont seem to mind the "drone" sound. It does come with nice 4in tips though.

Why only axle backs? You should check out the new Pypes Mid-Mufflers. http://www.pypesexhaust.com/newproducts.html The videos sound awesome.
