i just bought the car and didnt want to spend a lot of money on exhaust, but i do want something a little louder than the stock, and the pypes axel backs are a pretty good price so i was just trying to find out how people liked/disliked them and how loud they were.

I think if you want to only have a little louder you want to check on the FRPP GTAs. Very popular choice and only a little louder than stock and no drone.

There are pretty big differences between exhausts and how loud they are. Youtube has many great videos of the setups.

This shows stock, the stingers that many people have, and then also the addition of the pypes o/r H pipe that is also very popular

You next question is how much drone can you live with...many aftermarket systems have a certain amount of drone.

I had a ton of drone on my JBA's that I had on my 6 so drone is ok. I honestly just want something that is louder. I think I will try out the Pypes and see how I like them. It's either them or MAC that I am deciding between. The guy who sold me the car had Mac's on his 06 GT and it sounded mean as hell!! So I a little torn at the moment

Who wait, you had drone with your JBA's? Did you get a kit or just the mufflers? Did you have headers?
