Default Programming Traction Control Off

Is this possible?

Everytime I get in the car I turn TCS off. I don' t drive in the rain or snow and can't see where I have a use for it. I have a SCT programmer if that helps but wouldn't know where to start on changing anything (using a performance tune from B*M*)

It's one of the options on the SCT you just scroll down and turn it off

I don't see it on my SCT? Can each tune shop decide on putting this as an option. I have a Brenspeed tune.

Your tune shop should be able to give you a tune that shuts it off permanently (at least while that tune is loaded). I know this was something that Brent asked me if I wanted when he created my custom tune for my '05 GT.

I'm not sure if it's an open option in the SCT without the custom tune.

are you talking about when the SCT asks if you want to edit additional parameters or whatever?

...and may i ask, why do you turn off traction control? like what are the pros/cons of it?

You can't shut the traction control off on a Hertz Shelby GT-H.

No burning rubber on a rental.

Just a bit of useless trivia.
