Default DR Question

I'm about to upgrade to some nitto 555R radials. these will be my first set of great traction tires and i was wondering what is a good RPM to launch at. i drive a stick. i was really loking foward to getting them until Friday night. i was at the track and my buddy in his SRT-4 had just got some slicks and he launched it and the axle broke. i spent all that night pulling it out and towing it home. now i'm really worried about the possibility of mine breaking an axle. so to prevent a axle breaking, what is a good RPM to leave the line?

Default RE: DR Question

try 3K and if you feel you can go more, do it, if you wanna be easy on her, id say 4k is a good limit, good luck.
