Did you get invoice for your GT?
Now this really isn't open to 2005 owners....believe me I know what yall paid when they came out.
I am looking to get invoice pricing on an 08' and by 2007 prices, would be about 25,500 on a well equipped GT.
This is really key to me being able to afford it comfortably.
So did any of you get close to invoice, or better? Aside from A-plan or others like that.
If so, how?

Althoug I bought mine with x-plan (at the last moment). I selected mine through the internet and then they contacted from the dealership. The internet prices are really good and with a little talking, you get them to wave extra dealer fee's and stuff like that. Only at the last moment I received my x-plan which took off some extra money for me. I got a pretty good deal all together

I have an 05 and paid just above invoice for mine. I wanted an 06 with the shaker500 and I would have had to wait for 2 weeks for it while this one was on the lot, taunting me. It was the last 05 GT they had on the lot (lots of V6s still) so I convinced them to give it to me minus the dealer markup, they then subrtacted the cost of the Shaker ($1200) and the Sport appearance package ($300, I wanted the full interior upgrade but they didn't have it...oh well) and I got the car for $28k. With the dealer markup they had it listed at $33k but I told them that was absurd since it was the last 05 they had. MSRP was like 29.5k and the invoice cost was like 27.5k

I am not sure about getting one for invoice, and i think the 25,500 number is low for a "well equipped" GT I bought an 07 model and mine is well equipped (no shaker 1000 or GT appearance package) and the sticker came to 29,XXX. I bought mine on the D plan and also recieved a special cash back bonus of 1G on a special that was going on for only one week and mine was in that ballpark. Honestly i think you could look more for 27 flat if you are looking to buy an 08 model when they come out, depending on if ford throws any new stuff on for 08. I hope you can get one as cheap as possible but i think that estimate is a little low. Good luck.

I also got the 07 GT with most of the packages, the only missing are shaker 1000 and GT appearance package. Mine was listed as $29K and change and that is how much I paid for it, plus the alarm. Could not get a better deal because my credit is a little off.
there were no deals in Dec 05 on these cars...

I didn't haggle too much when I bought my '07 in July. Called a couple dealers on a Friday afternoon then went in that night and bought it. The only optionmine didn't have was the Shaker 1000 (keep in mind stuff like GTAP, GTCS and Navigation weren't out quite yet).
Sticker was $31,005 and invoice was around $28,600. I paid $29,500.
