Default Dash squeaks

Does anyone get dash squeaks? Most of the time myStang is perfect but on rougher roads I get squeaks coming form the left and right side. Sounds like styrofoam rubbing together, kinda?

I read about the mirror thing on one of the searches when I was looking for the dash fix. It described how to disasemble and fix the problem. But nothing on the dash.

When I had my 05 it was rampant in the whole car..I hated it. Since I have had my 07 which has not too long (two weeks) I have not had any problems..yet! It's a known issue though, so you're not alone **exhale**

I had the same thing. Especially when it's below 40 degrees. I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a piece of 12x12 black felt. Cut two pieces about 1/2"x 4" and crammed one on each side between the dash and the pillar using my drivers license to push it all the way down.
No more rattle.

I've got the same problem. I was thinking of doing the felt thing also.

I had a daskboard squeek, a real pest, then I remembered I also had the cure, it was right there all the while, I reached out to my Shaker 500, turned the ****, no more squeek....
