Default Dead Spot on Acceleration (not the same hesitation I don't think)

I have a new 07 5 speed. If I accelerate mildly, there is a dead spot at about 2800 rpm in first and second and third. If I accelerate moderately, it passes 2800 rpm keeps ripping along.

It does not sound the same as the hesitation I read about and it does bug me. Anybody else have this quirk? It happens cold and hot. I am getting a tune, will that fix it?

I haven't experienced that with my 06. The CAI and tune will probably straighten it out.

Get a tune and it will be gone.

I have a GT 07 5spd as well and never experienced your problem with or without a tune

It might be your charge motion plates opening up. I beleive they open around 3000 rpm's. If I accelerate moderately, I can feel them open up2800-3200. But if I'm flooring it I don't feel it.

I have exactly same experience right now and at the same rpm. Worse when engine is cold. Really quite noticeable. 3rd gear is a flat too. Having car redynotuned saturday. Will let you know if tune corrects.

I have it right at 3k rpms. I also got a tune, but it didn't fix it. Not sure what it is, but apparently it's something "normal."
